Zombie Roomie

Living with the Living Dead.

Lots of people complain about their roommate’s habits, but few have to worry about their roommate eating them in their sleep. John does. His roommate, George, is a  zombie, and not the shambling, brain-obsessed type. He is a thinking, breathing, living (?), zombie with feelings and intelligence. He may lack a soul (a point which is explored in one story arc), but he doesn’t just eat anyone. In fact, many of the people he eats would be considered bad or evil.

The great thing about this comic is the off-the-wall humor. Over the course of a single story arc, they meet Scooby Doo, Lucky, and the Smurfs, each of which is much different after their meeting with the main two characters. John even gets to meet the vampire who’s likeness was used for The Count from Seaseme Street.

One thing I wouldn’t say it bad, but would be nice to see, is that there is little to no seriousness to the comic. Its nice when there is a balance between the humor and the seriousness, where as this comic seems to go out of its way to not have much seriousness at all.

Overall, a very good comic for a laugh, but not a whole lot of substance.
