Cats playing video games is funny, right?

VGCats is about a pair of cats who play video games and the wacky fun they have. They aren’t in all of the comics, but its obvious they are the main characters with a few other minor characters. Most of this comic is joke-a-day style, and many of the strips spoof one or more video games, usually the current main stream games, but occasionally harking back to games like Super Mario Brothers for a laugh. For a long time this comic was hailed as one of the best webcomics on the internet, but it has fallen far from that position.

The best point of this webcomic is its humor. The jokes are funny and quite original. Bits and pieces of this comic have been stolen by other webcomics and used there, but VGCats went there first, and it still the best at cracking the joke.

There is one big problem with this comic: It doesn’t update. The last update was in Jan. and was supposed to be a Christmas special. Once you get through the great archives and get up to current, its pretty disappointing to realize that you’ve read everything, and there really isn’t going to be any more.
