A webcomic about video games. How original.

Despite the sarcasm in the first line, this comic isn’t half bad. The content is decently original, the jokes are funny, and the art isn’t have bad. Unfortunetly, the same could be said for the dozens of other comics that all compete for the top spot in this niche (though, who will really be able to take out Penny Arcade unless they slip?).

That being said, I think this comic is worth checking out, as long as you are (or have been) a gamer. There are a lot of oldschool game jokes (such as the Rejected Megaman Villains), but enough current stuff that the newer generations (anyone who has played video games since the turn of the millennia) will understand.

As I said before, this comic suffers from its environment. The comic may be good in its own right, but it doesn’t shine. In a fact that is as full as video game comics is, you have to shine to really get a lot of popularity.

Final Judgement: If you have some time to waste online, you could do a lot worse than this comic. However, I don’t see this comic staying on the weekly reading list of anyone who isn’t willing to have such a list be large.
