Dinosaur Comics

Dinosaur comics is not as extinct as it should be. I will admit, this is the first comic in which I have not read the entire archive before passing judgment. There is one big reason for this: I could tell it was 1-star material within the first 50 strips. The next 150 didn’t improve my opinion at all. Then the latest fifty (I jumped forward to see if it got better) makes me re-consider having a one star minimum.

The entire comic consists of the same images almost everyday (except for the guest strips) in which only the text of the strip is changed. Though there is time travel, deep conversations, and even a lost pterodactyl; the comic is boring. The main character (T-Rex) has forgotten most of his past, including a homoerotic encounter with a Utahraptor who is the main supporting character. We never know if this really happened, or if the Utahraptor is messing with T-Rex (which wouldn’t be very hard).

The only good thing about this comic is the laugh you get the first time you see a dinosaur talking about the nature of morality. This will last three strips. If you’re lucky.

Overall, I don’t recommend this comic, but look at it if you wish.
