8 Easy Bits
In a nutshell, 8 Easy Bits is a sprite comic about the making of the sprite comic. The Author (he hasn’t gotten a name yet) is a video game addict who spends most of his time at White Castle, and goes for weeks without sleep. During one of these periods of extreme sleep deprivation he decides to make a sprite comic. Fortunately for him, this is easy because all of the sprites from old 8-bit games are living in the real world.
The jokes about the main character’s sleep deprivation and video game addiction get old fairly fast. In the few interlude strips where the artist uses a repainted Megaman sprite (called Megawhat) to down on his own comic, you find yourself agreeing with with the insults and ignoring the sarcasm that is supposed to be in the statements.
Overall, this comic is decent, but I would only recommend it for ‘core readers
